Hello, I'm
Smit Nerurkar
Project Manager based in Mumbai, IN.

About me
I don't just execute, I own the outcome.
Origin
I started noticing the decisions behind the work.
Why this feature? Why this deadline? Why does the experience feel broken? I became more interested in the thinking behind products than execution alone.
Proof
I've since moved from watching that gap to closing it.
At Webmaffia, I manage multiple client projects, coordinate with design and development teams, and oversee day-to-day execution from requirement gathering through delivery.
Direction
I want ownership, not isolated tasks.
My focus is product and project ownership: aligning stakeholders, managing execution, and being responsible for what finally ships.

Outflow
View Live ProductOutflow is an expense tracking application that helps users to record, categorize, and manage their expenses in a simple and organized way, which works across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Core Responsibilities
- •Planned and built Outflow solo from defining what it should even do, to shipping it
- •Designed the UX and architecture myself, mobile-first from day one
- •Built expense tracking, offline support, auth, and reporting the whole thing, not just the easy parts
Process & Learning
- •Being PM designer and the developer meant no one to blame for a bad decision but me so decisions got better
- •UI/UX kept changing as I actually used the app daily and noticed what was broken
- •Learned to balance product goals, user needs, and technical feasibility while making decisions throughout the development lifecycle
Impact & Takeaways
- •Took an idea from zero to a working, deployed product with full ownership across planning, design, development, and release
- •Built the foundation to be extensible, so new features can be added without reworking the core architecture
- •Came out of it with a clearer sense of product thinking and prioritization, and a real understanding of what shipping project end to end actually takes

UI & State
- •React.js for component-based UI and state management
- •Tailwind CSS for utility-first responsive styling
Data & Auth
- •Firebase Authentication for secure user sessions
- •Firestore for real-time expense data storage
Prototyping
- •Figma for full UI layout and design exploration
